Mini Tennis
Mini tennis is split into different stages for different ages and ability levels. Each stage uses a different ball colour and size as well as a different sized court. This makes each stage of learning easier. For more information on the tennis structure in the UK please take a look at the LTA webpage.

Stage 1 - RED Ball
This is for children aged 8 and under and is a great way to start getting into tennis. The ball is slightly bigger and moves much slower than the levels that follow.

Stage 2 - ORANGE Ball

This is for children aged 8-9 years old and is a good progression from the red ball. The orange ball bounces slightly higher than the red ball and travels slightly faster. At orange level the court is also much bigger than a red court.

 Stage 3 - GREEN Ball
A green ball is the level before moving onto a proper yellow ball. At green level the court is now full sized and the ball again bounces slightly higher than the level before.

 Stage 4 - YELLOW Ball
This is for children aged 11 upwards and of course adults. At this level you play with a yellow ball and full size court, just like the pros.
