I have been working in the fitness industry for many years and have built up a wealth of knowledge and experience. I find the science behind reducing body fat, strength training, fitness training and sports performance fascinating. This interest lead me to taking a sports science degree in which I am in the final year.

I believe my areas of specialism lay in reducing body fat, strength training, and sports performance.

Personal training is about seeing results, and if you do not get results then you may as well be training on your own without a personal trainer. When training with 'Simon James Personal Training' you will consistently be able to see your strength gains from session to session. Training is testing, and testing is training = A brilliant concept I picked up from some top strength coaches and sport scientists. I also offer Anthropometry Consultations, this is an in depth body composition profile of your body. I highly recommend having this done if you are serious about decreasing your body fat, and want to see your results printed on paper. 

If you are thinking about personal training, but are not sure about it then I offer a free consultation in which you can meet me for an informal chat about what you would like to achieve. I understand you must choose a trainer that is right for you, so if after the consultation you decide personal training is not for you then this is not a problem at all. 

Training sessions are available in any time duration whether it be 30mins or 60mins. Personal training can take place anywhere you like. The gym I am based at is Beechdown Health Club in Basingstoke, however I can also offer outdoor training, personal training at your home or sessions in your local sports club.
